Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using PepScout, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by applicable law. You are responsible for compliance with local laws that apply to your use of the Service.

Research and informational use only

PepScout presents independent laboratory evidence, Evidence Score, and vendor × compound rankings for research and due diligence. The Service does not sell peptides, compounds, or medical products, and does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, or legal advice.

Rankings and evidence levels describe the strength of available lab data — not safety, quality, efficacy, or a recommendation to purchase from any vendor. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information in the Service.

No vendor endorsement

Inclusion in the catalog, display of lab reports, or any ranking does not constitute an endorsement, partnership, or verification of a vendor’s business practices beyond the specific report data indexed. Vendors cannot pay for placement, badges, or Evidence Score without underlying parsed report data in the catalog.

Subscriptions and billing

Certain features require a paid subscription processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled under Apple’s terms and your Apple ID settings. Subscription management and restore purchases are available through the app and Apple account settings.

Where offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends, as disclosed at purchase.

Community submissions

If you upload lab reports or other materials, you represent that you have the right to submit them and that the submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may review, parse, reject, or remove submissions that violate these Terms, appear fraudulent, or cannot be verified.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and derive catalog data from the submission for operating and improving the Service.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape at scale in violation of applicable terms, or interfere with operation of the Service.
• Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or material you do not have rights to share.
• Do not misrepresent PepScout rankings or data as medical advice, safety certification, or official laboratory endorsement.
• Do not use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including PepScout branding, software, and presentation of catalog data, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party lab reports and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

Third-party services and data

The Service may reference or index data from independent testing laboratories and public sources. Those third parties are not responsible for PepScout and we are not responsible for their websites, terms, or availability. Your use of linked third-party services is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CATALOG DATA IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELSEIF LIMITED AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) GBP £100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elseif Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance. We will post updates on this page.
